Supporter accounts
Wynday uses Supabase to verify your email and store your supporter name, email, board configuration and drafts. Each account can manage several supported people. Setup boards are available when you sign in with the same email on another device. Sign-in messages are delivered through Resend. Email addresses and request sources are hashed for short-lived sign-in rate limits.
Browser storage
The Study keeps a local account cache to preserve edits while a save is pending. Recipient boards, progress and personal plans stay in the browser where they are used. Anyone using the same browser profile may inspect locally stored data, including cached account boards. Signing out ends that browser’s account session; it does not remove local copies.
Trying the sample
The interactive sample needs no personal details. It uses a fictional board and keeps changes only in memory while the page is open. Refreshing starts it over. The sample does not read or write saved boards, and photos are disabled there. Hosting still processes page requests as described below.
Sharing a board
A board link includes a readable snapshot of its name, quests, dates, rewards and feature settings. Anyone who receives that link can read and copy it. Newly generated links exclude progress, personal schedules and work hours, and keep the snapshot in the URL fragment after #, which browsers do not send in page requests. Older links may contain board data in the URL path.
Hosting and contact
Vercel hosts Wynday and processes page requests. If you contact Wynday by email, the information you choose to send is handled by the relevant email services. Avoid sending board links or sensitive personal information in a support request.
Optional photos and check-ins
Photos you choose are resized and saved in this browser's IndexedDB storage. Re-encoding removes the original file metadata, including location. Photo files and reward choices are excluded from board links. Photo files are not uploaded to a server or sent to an AI service. If you explicitly import a browser board into your supporter account, its reward choices, progress and photo-bonus records are uploaded, without the images. Anyone using the same browser profile may access them. You can view or delete a photo in Progress; deleting an image keeps its already-earned bonus. Reflection text is not stored or shared. Clearing browser data can remove these records permanently.
Features still in development
Inbox connections, document uploads, cloud photo storage and AI processing are not connected in this version. Alfred does not send your board to an AI service.
Backup files
You can download a board backup from More → Backup & recovery. The file includes its name, quests, progress, history, reward choices, dates and personal plans. It excludes photo files and the supporter email. Backups are not encrypted, so keep them private. Choosing a file for restore previews it in your browser. Confirming restore in the Study uploads the board to your account; restoring through Open saved boards keeps it only in that browser. You preview it before restoring, and an existing board with the same ID is kept unchanged.
Deleting local data
You can remove locally saved data through your browser's settings for Wynday. This cannot be undone and does not erase backup files or copies someone else has saved or shared. Clearing browser data does not delete your Supabase account or boards already saved to it. Unsynced edits and recipient progress can be lost. Contact support@wynday.com from your account email to request account data access or deletion. If you previously downloaded a backup, you can restore its board and progress; photo files cannot be recovered from that backup.
